Our latest show - One Hit Wonders

"One Hit Wonders" is a music review produced & performed by members of the well-established Company of Theatre Arts (COTA). ‘The Company’ (COTA), is a long established non-paying performance company, having put on highly professional shows in the Durban area for the past 23 years in venues from The Sneddon (Everything old is new again, To be Frank, Godspell), the Rhumblelow Theatre (The Good, Bad & Outrageous, Denim to Diamonds, Musical Mania, Rhythm of Life), the Westville Civic Centre (Stage & Screen, Blast thru the Past, All for One), to name but a few.

Now, from 21st September 2010 to the 3rd October 2010, The Company will be performing at The Heritage Theatre, Hillcrest, in “One Hit Wonders” (a controversial term with various other proposed definitions). This song & dance review is a mix of songs from performers who have had only one of their recorded songs enter the Top Hit charts& in some cases were never heard of again!

With Act 1 set in a daytime Café street scene & Act 2 around a vibrant nightclub/ cocktail bar, the successful formula of dance styles interlaced with song, comedy & lively entertainment is to be enjoyed by the whole family.
